After working seven years in bank operations, Julie was offered a position with the Ascension Clerk of Court in 1987. She has worked in every department of the Clerk’s Office and currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer.
Julie graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from LSU's College of Business Administration where she majored in Finance. She is a 1997 graduate of Leadership Ascension. Julie is a Certified Deputy Clerk and a member of the Louisiana Clerks of Court Association, Government Finance Officers Association of Louisiana, and the International Association of Clerks, Recorders, Election Officials & Treasurers.
Julie and her husband Erik have been married for 29 years. They are members of Ascension Baptist Church in Gonzales. When Julie is not watching her son Austin play baseball, she enjoys tennis, hunting and fishing with her family, and escaping to their vacation home in Cocodrie.
